As part of our services we process Medicaid applications, plan for Medicaid benefits, plan for SSI, try to minimize any loss of benefits due to income and resources, advise families about the use of trusts including specially tailored special needs trusts, suggest life insurance to protect people with disabilities, suggest annuities where appropriate, facilitate inheritances and how they might be planned, effect personal service contracts where appropriate, assist with personal injury settlements, recommend long term care insurance where appropriate, focus on the protection of a spouse, suggest methods for parental gifts, protection of homesteads, avoid probate and its attendant costs and delays, advise about how to use income producing property, introduce a guardianship to protect a person or property when there are no better means to do so, try to resolve family disputes or issues, prepare Wills and trusts, powers of attorney, Living Wills and Health Care Surrogate Designations, provide guidance about veterans benefits, and much more.

We do not do applications for social security disability, although we can recommend attorneys who do. 

We are always open to reasonable questions and we try our best to accommodate the needs of our clients. All meetings are by appointment only and most often fees are fixed in advance. We will inform clients of fees in advance before we engage in any work. While a few services may need to be charged hourly due to an indeterminate amount of time involved, this is rare.
